How do I get my business to appear on the homepage?

You can't, this is automatically done by the site and is randomised.

Will It Cost Me Money Whenever I Look At My Listing?

No, not if you log your IP to your account. To do this you need to login to your account and in the ‘my account’ page click on the edit details link. You’ll see a green button to add your ip. Whenever you visit your listing from that location you won’t be charged.

Please note: We don’t store any personal details with this ip, it just tells the system not to count you when you look at your listing.

Is There A Minimum Subscription Time?

No, so long as you have credit in your account then your listing will be live. If you let you credit run out then your listing won’t be visible on the site. There is no obligation to continue using our service once your credit runs.

I don't want to let customers send enquires to me, can I turn it off?

Yes, Step 1 - Login to your account. Step 2 - Click on the My Businesses link at the top of the page. Step 3 - Click on your business name in the left hand column. A number of options will appear underneath the business name. Step 4 - Click on the advanced options. Step 4 - Un-tick the box next to Accept Enquires?

How do I get my listing to be at the top of the results?

Results are based on relevancy to the search term. More relevant businesses will be ranked first. Though other factors like distance are considered. Some searches however are randomised to give businesses a fair opportunity.

How do I change my details?

Every business has a username and a password which they can use to login to their account. Once logged in you can change any of your listings details as well as access your performance statistics.

How do I list my business with Find My Local?

Click on the add business link at the top of this page in the green section. Choose a package and simply follow the prompts.

How Long Does Credit Last For?

Credit is valid for 12 months from the date it was purchased. If you purchase more credit within the 12 months then all of your credit is reset to the new expiry date. So long as you keep topping up your credit within the 12 months it will never expire. The reason we do this is because not all businesses survive and if that happens, the last thing they'll be worrying about is cancelling their advertising. This is a safety measure to make sure old content doesn't remain on the site.<br/> <br/> If you do find that your credit has expired then please contact us and we'll see what we can do. The expiry date is merely a safety measure and not something we to have happen very often.

How Does The Pay For Results System Work?

When you advertise with us you simply create your listing and purchase some credit in our system. As consumers visit your listing your credit is then used up. As your credit gets low you simply top up with more.

The advantage is that your guaranteed results before you need to spend any more money. Wouldn’t it be great if all advertising worked like this.

If Someone Keeps Clicking On My Listing Will It Keep Costing Me?

No, our system identifies if the same person continues to view a listing. You are only charged once per day for actions by a single person. It’s important to note that the system does not hold any personal identifying information on anyone.
