FindMyLocal.com.au is the Central Coast's premier online business directory and is owned, based and operated right here on the Coast. Our passion and purpose is to help local businesses get found online and to help local consumers find local suppliers.
We believe that the Central Coast has an enormous pool of talented professionals working across a wide spectrum of industries and areas - from carpenters and makeup artists, to web designers and pool specialists. As such, we wanted to create a directory that would allow these businesses to work together more effectively and be found by more customers!
At FindMyLocal we're committed to delivering the best user experience possible and we impose strict standards on the quality and completeness of information in our listings.
As well as delivering the most relevant results, we strive to ensure a listing on FindMyLocal will provide complete and up to date information about the business, including images or photographs, and correct contact details. The idea for Find My Local was born back in 2006 and grew from our own frustration at not being able to easily find local businesses. We were also frustrated by the ineffectiveness of other directories - the ones that deliver page after page of irrelevant results (including results from interstate when you conduct a "local" search) and bombard you with advertising.
After nearly 4 years in research and development, we finally had a service that solved all of the problems and frustrations we found with other directories. So FindMyLocal.com.au was launched in August 2010.
At the time of launch we had well over 1,000 local businesses listed and since then our membership and user base has been growing and growing.
Our focus is on our customers and since our launch we've been devoting all of our resources to ensure we're providing our customers with the best service and results for their business.
Even though a FindMyLocal.com.au listing offers unmatched value to business owners we're committed to making our directory even better! Since launch we've been working steadily on improvements and developing new features to implement.
We've got a number of new features planned that we'll be introducing soon and as time goes on you can be sure we'll continue making Find My Local better by providing even more value for our customers and the best user experience for consumers.
